What a delight. We found a huge cluster of honey mushrooms not 100 yards from the house and picked comfrey and wild greens on the way back. Alan sauteed the shrooms and made comfrey fritters, plus we had a salad with violets and beauty berries, then chaga mushroom tea and kousa dogwood berries for dessert. Wow and YUM! Hooray for a great day...
