However they may be served and eaten, mushrooms you must make yours at any cost.
Learn to like them, WILL to like them, or else your brief sojourn on this earth will be
a wretched waste.

What a day full of fun memories. I loved driving around the magnificent mountains in your open chariot.
From shrooming around to tooling around, it was a treat...

What a delight. We found a huge cluster of honey mushrooms not 100 yards from the house and picked comfrey and wild greens on the way back. Alan sauteed the shrooms and made comfrey fritters, plus we had a salad with violets and beauty berries, then chaga mushroom tea and kousa dogwood berries for dessert. Wow and YUM! Hooray for a great day.

Mushroom man

For over 15 years, Alan Muskat has been persuading thousands to sample rather than trample the toadstools. Author of Wild Mushrooms: A Taste of Enchantment, this stand-up mycomedian has popped up on Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, in Country Living magazine, and at The Biltmore Estate. Ask anyone who knows the mushroom man: when it comes to bringing out the fun in fungi, he's the champignon.
